Joanna Barnum
Joanna Barnum was the Artist in Residence at Catoctin Mountain Park in spring 2016. Joanna studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and had been painting for 10 years at the time of her residency. She has sold plein air works through plein air events; had done commissioned portraits and illustrated publications. She has taught watercolor through the Carroll Community College since 2013 and has taught workshops through the Towson Arts Collective, Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Joanna lives in Abingdon, MD.
