Emily McGrew
Emily McGrew was a Catoctin Mountain Artist-in-Residence May 16-30, 2011. She specializes in oil painting, charcoal drawing/sketching and resides in Houston, TX. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a Master of Fine Arts candidate at the University of Houston where she has also been a Teaching Fellow. Emily received a 2010 and 2011 Presidential Graduate Fellowship, a 2010 and 2011 Mitchell, Dolores Scholarship, and a 2010 and 2011 Graduate Assistant Tuition Fellowship from the University of Houston, Houston, TX. She also received a 2008 Christopher Patrick McKee Memorial Award at the 43rd Annual Entral South Art Exhibition National, Nashville TN.
