Ed Praybe
Ed Praybe was the Catoctin Mountain Park Artist in Residence in spring 2013. He is from Arnold, MD and received his MFA in Painting from the New York Studio School and a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Ed specializes in painting and ink on paper. He was awarded the competitive Hohenberg Travel Scholarship in the summer of 2012, allowing for six weeks of independent study and practice of art in Europe. He received an endowment from the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation to aid in the pursuit of his master's degree at the New York Studio School. During his residency in the park, he did a presentation for Laura Day’s art class at Catoctin High School. https://edmondpraybe.com
